Launch of corruption free police stations

Last week, ActionAid Uganda in partnership with the Uganda Police, launched the Corruption Free Police stations campaign. The campaign is aimed at recognizing honest officers but also rallying the public to report all officers who ask and accept bribes in return for services. In this Campaign, messages for awareness creation on forums for reporting corruption will be put up at over 10 police stations with in KMP. In his speech while launching this campaign, the KMP Commander CP Frank Mwesigwa thanked ActionAid for its deliberate action to continuously work with Uganda Police for a corruption free Uganda.
